High performance copper alloy – CuCrNb – GRCop-42
Introduction
With the rapid development of science and technology, the manufacturing industry continues to upgrade and optimize, which puts forward higher demand for basic materials.High-performance Copper-based materials CuCrNbwith high strength, high conductivity and high heat resistance are developed as the key basic materials in high-tech fields such as new generation information technology, advanced rail equipment, aerospace equipment, energy saving and new energy vehicles. CuCrNb alloy, as a high strength, high conductivity and high heat resistance of copper-based alloy, has high thermal conductivity, good resistance to high temperature creep and high temperature strength, and can be used to prepare rocket propeller components such as rocket combustion chamber lining, fuel injector panel, etc. It also has been used in the application of 3D printing, and successfully printed for the rocket combustion chamber liner and completed a series of related tests.
CuCrNb powders produced by gas atomization
In China, the research of additive manufacturing technology to print Cu-Cr-Nb alloy is still mainly focusing on the preparation of Cu-Cr-Nb powder suitable for additive manufacturing. We have some research forCu-Cr-Nb powder preparation by high quality gas atomization. The printed test block from our Cu-Cr-Nb powder with the chemical composition, powder properties and morphology in below Table 1 & Photo 1 showed excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal and other comprehensive properties.
