soft magnetic alloys

Fe-Si alloy powder and Fe-Si-Al alloy powder
Advantage:
  1. Higher DC bias characteristics
  2. Higher saturation induction density
  3. Lower core loss
  4. Better temperature stability
  5. Better corrosion resistance
  6. High performance can meet the highest efficiency requirements
  7. Excellent cost efficiency

Soft magnetic alloys, i.e. Fe-Si alloy powder and Fe-Si-Al alloy powder are two crafts – water atomized powders and gas atomized powders ,Ferrosilicon powder is made by melting a fixed ratio of high purity iron and crude ferrosilicon in an induction furnace. The molten metal is then atomized using a high pressure stream of nitrogen gas to produce a high-grade ferrosilicon powder.

Application of Soft Magnetic Alloyed Powder:

  • Traction motors /Air conditioning compressors/Pumps (cooling, oil, etc.)/DC/DC converters/On-vehicle chargers
  • Ventilation fans/Solar power/Industrial motor drives/Off-board battery charging
